Friday Evening Slowdown

In today’s busy world, we need to make time to slow down and unwind from our hectic lifestyles. Finding some ‘me time’ out of juggling work, family, friends and other commitments is ever-more important to our health and wellbeing. This special Friday Yoga Slowdown class aims to bring some yin to the yang of your busy week and create balance within your body and mind.
This class will start with a flowing yoga practice to get you moving and balance your energy from the week, before slowing it down completely with a Yin yoga practice. This practice will help you turn your attention inwards, notice sensations in the body and bring stillness to your mind.
Taught in candlelight with relaxing music, this class aims to create the ultimate zen environment to help you fully chillax. In this 90 minute practice you will mindfully move and stretch your body to help replenish and rejuvenate both body and mind, so you can move into the weekend feeling recharged and ready for anything!

Suitable for all levels.
Mats provided.

Zoe Rowe Yoga

Today more than ever we need yoga to help us stay mindful and healthy in our fast paced lives. I aim to teach yoga for the modern day world by bringing awareness to our movement, to help us keep our bodies mobile, our joints healthy and our minds happy.

My first encounter of yoga was in a 40 degree windowless room, with carpeted floors, about 40 other people, and a distinct smell of sweaty trainers, damp cellar and moth ball aromas (memorable to say the least!). This is where it all began, the moment where I fell in love with yoga. Although I still enjoy a strong practice and breaking a sweat, I have also grown to love and appreciate the mental benefits of yoga.

After realising yoga was so much more than just poses and breaking a sweat, I decided to pursue my yoga teacher training so that I could give to others what yoga has given to me. 
As well as teaching dynamic classes, I enjoy turning it down a notch with more mindful, nurturing practices to help calm, balance and nurture both body and mind.
