This general class is a mind-body fitness class. Its aim is to develop awareness of the body, mind and breath in order to stimulate a feeling of harmony. There is a focus on healthy alignment and with practice you will improve your strength, flexibility and endurance. It is equally suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners as poses are adapted to individual needs, bearing in mind that each human being is unique.

Since completing my teacher training with the British Wheel of Yoga, the governing body for yoga in England, I have never stopped learning through my personal practice and study. I have gained further qualifications in yoga therapy with a particular interest in back pain, restorative yoga and meditation. It is through yoga that I have developed a keen interest in the human body and the power of the mind. I believe yoga can be a powerful tool of transformation for our entire lives, at the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels.
