A gentle 1 hour Hatha class accessible to all with all working to their own level, be that beginner or confident. Approximately half the group practice using a chair for support. All postures demonstrated both with and without a chair.

I offer small Hatha Yoga classes in the village of Messingham in North Lincolnshire. Ongoing study into the theory and philosophy of Yoga underpins my classes, which all begin with contextual information on an aspect of yoga. Asana (postures), Pranayama (breath work), Dharana and Dhyana (concentration and meditation techniques) all form important aspects of each class. I also offer one to one sessions in your home where we can build a personal practice based around your area of interest. Be this a health matter or an aspect of Yoga theory or practise.
Yoga is a magical practice which enables the practitioner to improve the wellness of both their body and mind. In a time of disconnect from spirituality and being overwhelmed by the media and consumerism, people are turning to spiritual practices such as Yoga as a way to reconnect.
I began practising Yoga 18 years ago and began studying one to one 14 years ago. I was privileged to begin my Yoga journey with Zoe Martin in Leicester and then began to study with her teacher Paul Harvey near Bristol. Both of these wonderful teachers trained in the lineage of Viniyoga, with Paul having spent many years training in India with Sri TKV Desikachar, the son of Krishnamacharya.
Having completed over 200 hours training with Paul and Zoe over a number of years, I began sharing my passion for Yoga locally in Messingham. Over the last year I completed my official teacher training qualification at Tall Trees Yoga Studio in Doncaster.
I am passionate about sharing my love of Yoga and helping people to discover the benefits of this ancient practice.
