Happy Pregnancy yoga is very different from traditional forms of yoga, the emphasis being on nurturing the mother and gently preparing you for the birth and beyond, not just physically but also emotionally. It helps to keep the body strong and toned but without any strain and importantly it gives you time to relax and focus on yourself and bonding with your unborn baby.
Happy Pregnancy yoga classes are suitable from 14 weeks right up until the birth and no previous experience of yoga is required.
I keep my class size small to allow for individual attention and within the classes we focus on gentle stretching, movement, breathing and relaxation which are all specifically tailored to the needs of each woman according to her needs and the stage of her pregnancy.
The classes are laid back and fun, with time to chat and make friends too :-)
How much are the classes and how do I book?
The classes are booked in blocks of 5 and cost £45 for the block, the blocks are rolling so you don't have to wait until the start of a block to join the class.
The classes are held at The Famous Building, in Jesmond.
