Yoga helps to bring balance to our lives and bodies. When we are balanced we are calmer, more energised and more focused. By learning to let your body and breath lead, you will learn how to quieten the mind and accept yourself in the present moment. Happy body, happy mind!
YOGA is for everyone, there is no one that can not benefit from it's practice.
It is not just for flexible people - this class welcomes all ages and abilities, recognizing the need for posture modifications to suit you as an individual.
Join us in the lovely Ascension Studio in Hackney, East London.

I first came across yoga while study Contemporary Dance at University. Back then it was something I did to improve my flexibility as a dancer, without understanding the true nature of what yoga really was about. it wasn't until years later, after reading up on the subject of Yoga, Buddhism and the working of the brain that I became deeply interested in the topic and it's practises.
I trained originally as Hot Yoga instructor in Cornwall then went on to study at Still Flowing Yoga in Ibiza. After this Scaravelli Inspired and Buddhist mindfulness training I moved back to the capital and discovered Ascension Studio. It is the ideal place to host my yoga classes – a welcoming, inspiring space with a strong community feel.
Having learnt and grown so much through yoga, I want to introduce other people to this positive experience.
Yoga is an ever relevant, growing and adapting set of tools we can use for life and I often find that what happens on the mat reflects what is happening elsewhere in life.
