A welcoming class in a beautiful venue and a lovely way to wake up to your week or wind down ready for the weekend.
Classes are of mixed age, gender and yoga experience.
Linda starts each class with some initial relaxation, followed by gentle stretching and often an opening vinyasa (flow) sequence to get the whole body moving. The postures that follow encompass all-round movement of the spine, including flexions, extensions, rotations and balances, building the strength of the core muscles and working with awareness of the breath.
Modifications, to make the postures "easier", and extensions for those who need a greater challenge are included in order to ensure that everyone from a complete beginner onwards, can participate at their own level. Each session ends with a final relaxation, and often pranayama (breathing exercises).

The classes offer a friendly, warm welcome and we work together in a calm and light-hearted atmosphere of gentle encouragement.
Having practised Yoga since the early ‘80s, I decided to
combine a love for teaching and Hatha Yoga and, following my training, I've never looked back. I run group classes and offer private sessions one-to-one of for small groups, in my home studio. I also offer BeActivated muscle activation treatments -contact me to find out more. A fully insured teacher since 2009, I hold the Central YMCA CYQ Level 3 Certificate in Teaching Yoga.
