In day-to-day life, we rarely use our bodies' full range of motion, or give all our muscles and joints a fair chance at movement. It's use it or lose it! - and losing it comes with stiffness, aches & pains, and a decreased quality of life. Yoga is like an elixir of eternal youth, keeping us strong and supple. My yoga classes aim to mobilize every joint and muscle of the body, noticeably increasing strength, stamina and flexibility over time, as well as improving posture and balance. A mindful yoga practice will also help develop self-awareness, is great for stress-relief and will promote a sense of calm, balance and well-being. Ultimately, I love yoga because it makes me feel good and I hope my classes do the same for you.
