We'll take a weekly or a "moonthly" theme and enjoy breathwork, hatha and restorative posture practice and relaxation to support our inner and outer worlds.

I didn’t become a practicing yogi until my thirties and I am forever grateful to the Doctor suggesting yoga to improve strength and flexibility after I pulled a muscle in my back.
I found a class not far from where I lived, in a local school hall on a Tuesday night . Through the weeks, as well as introducing me to the hatha foundations and different postures, stretching and easing out the tension in my physical body, I realised that a Tuesday night was also the best night’s sleep I had each week, likely as a result. What I remember is the phrase “It’s about the journey not the destination of the pose”. The shape you created was secondary to noticing how you felt. And I felt so calm and open in my body and mind and replenished in my spirit.
But teacher training?
If you’d have told me after my first ever formal yoga class in that school hall in Warwick 12 years ago that I would be signing up for teacher training? I’d have laughed.
My yoga teacher training with the wonderful Whitespace in Stony Stratford (www.whitespaceyoga.co.uk ) deepened my practice; testing me in ways I never expected it to and helped to tune me into my body and soul. I truly believe it showed me how to come home to the real me and live the principles and teachings off the mat. There’s also yoga to suit every body; faster and stronger practice or slower and calming depending on what you need.
