This six-week course offers an introduction to Hatha Yoga, influenced by the work of Vanda Scaravelli. Basic principles and practices will be explored to include asanas (yoga poses) and pranayama breathing techniques. These classes support relaxation (releasing tension in the body), improve flexibility and strength and build awareness in body and mind. A focus will be set on principles of grounding, breathing and lengthening. This yoga class is small in size and open to a maximum of six participants, allowing time for individual attention. Open to all ages and backgrounds.
Sally’s practice and training is influenced by the work of Vanda Scaravelli, originally a student of B.K.S Iyengar and T.K.V Desikachar.
