Namaste!
I believe that Yoga is an accessible tool for relaxation, happiness, deeper awareness of oneself and the world; a tool for anyone regardless age, shape, background or beliefs that helps to lead oneself towards a deeper level of physical fitness, healthy lifestyle and mental peace.
A little about my journey...
I spent most of my childhood and teenage years training hard to be a professional dancer. The freedom to express myself through my body, to explore my creativity and to challenge myself brought me many happy moments, but the best was yet to come.
I moved to London at the age of 19 and started a radically different life which brought me amazing people and experiences and replaced my pointe shoes for some happy dancing to a really loud bass on the fields. My spiritual, nomadic and adventurous sides got together during the following years, when I travelled for several months around India and lived twice in some paradisiac beach in Brazil. It was then when, at the peak of my life's intensity, I decided to go to a Yoga retreat for my birthday. I will forever be grateful for what was to be the start of a great adventure that changed my life perspective and helped me to get closer to all of that which I forgot.
Yoga will work your body and you will feel great, will give you muscular and mental strength, happiness, relaxation, calmness, compassion, passion, awareness, love, however... Yoga also works in mysterious ways!
I invite you to let Yoga work its magic and join me in this fun-filled journey in which one never ceases to learn...
Love,
Monica x
