Hot Yoga is simply practicing Yoga postures and poses, in a heated, humid room. Our studio is kept at approximately 105°F (40°C) and 60% humidity. The heat helps the body warm up while it relaxes the muscles, increasing its flexibility and preventing injury. The heat also encourages an increase in cardiovascular activity and helps you burn more calories. I am a fully qualified yoga instructor and member of British Wheel of Yoga, Birthlight, International Association of Infant Massage, Yoga Alliance, FEDANT (Federation of Antenatal Educators) and REPS. I have been teaching yoga in Greenwich since 2003 and specialise in Dynamic Flow Yoga, Yoga for Pregnancy, Birth Preparation Workshops, Hypnobirthing, Baby Massage and Postnatal Yoga for Mother and Baby.
My style of teaching is encouraging and nurturing. I don't believe that one style of yoga fit all, so I ensures that my classes are adaptable and accessible in order to suit any level of ability or experience.
