Yoga classes for all abilities include asana (body work), pranayama (breath work), yoga nidra (deep relaxation), meditation and mindfulness. Small groups with up to eight people and individual classes (one to one).
First introduced to Yoga in 1992, I then trained and qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga as a yoga teacher. I have now been teaching yoga for over 15 years, while continuously expanding my knowledge and experience. My practice is informed by Satyananda Yoga, where I qualified in 2007
Classes focus on balancing body and mind to establish harmony and wellbeing by working with flexibility, strength and core stability, body and breath awareness, mindfulness, relaxation and stress relieving practices, by energising the body and calming the mind.
All classes are held in a dedicated yoga room with wooden floor, log burner and in summer the option of having part of the class outside in the garden.
Mats, blankets, blocks and cushions are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. For the relaxation you may like to put on another layer such as socks and fleece.
I look forward to welcoming you to a class
