Midweek Hatha Yoga

Many Ways Yoga classes commence with a brief introduction to the themes and inspiration for the class, followed by a soothing focus on breath awareness to allow you to feel settled and to help prepare the mind and body for practice. This is followed by a carefully designed sequences of physical postures (āsana) to warm up the body, mobilise the joints, build strength, flexibility and balance. Modifications are suggested to make the practice accessible for most common health conditions. The class concludes with a guided relaxation, to allow a release of tension and invite you into a safe place of complete rest.

Students are asked to bring their own mat and any props they like to use, particularly a folded blanket. I have some props available to borrow such as yoga bricks and straps.

Doors open at 6.15 and we begin the class promptly at 6.30. Respecting the importance of your own preparation for practice and for the benefit of others in the class, I am unable to admit any students arriving once the class has begun. There is free parking on site.

Following the ethical traditions of yoga, through my practice and service as a yoga teacher I am committed to ensuring that my classes are welcoming, accessible and inclusive to all who wish to participate. My aim is that every individual feels valued and able to follow their own practice, to the level that suits them. I look forward to seeing you.

Many Ways Yoga

My name is Catherine and I have trained with the British Wheel of Yoga. I provide classes to the community in the NR2 and NR4 areas of Norwich, as well as one to one clients or bespoke yoga experiences in the workplace.
I offer friendly and enjoyable yoga classes for anyone seeking a greater sense of calm, positivity and health. Lessons are designed to ensure they are inclusive to all, regardless of the stage they are at in their yoga journey. The most common thing my students tell me after a class is "I really enjoyed that!" My students are my inspiration and I care deeply about ensuring that each student is able to find their own individual connection with the many ways yoga can enhance your whole life.
