This will be a mindful based practice with a blend of gently flow sequences as well as longer hold postures. We will explore linking postures to breath through softness and connection with the body.
There will be a mixture of standing and floor-based postures where you will be able to explore shapes that are comfortable for you. We will finish with a 5-10 minute savansana (resting posture).
There will be demonstrations offered throughout the class, modifications offered and opportunities to rest.
This class is suitable for beginners.

In 2018 I qualified as a 200 hours registered yoga teacher. I am passionate about making yoga inclusive and incorporating mindfulness throughout. Prior to qualifying, I’d been practising yoga for years alongside my mum who, without me realising was teaching me basic element of pranayama when I was stressed, and gentle flow sequences to help my movement at times when I needed it most.
When I moved to London, I found the yoga scene a little overwhelming and always had a sense that I never really fit in. I wasn’t wearing the right clothes, wasn’t slim enough, tall enough or bendy enough. My time in India taught me more than anything that yoga isn’t about any of that. It doesn’t care what you look like, or how flexible you are. Turning up on the mat and committing to your practice with an open heart is, at the end of the day, all yoga really cares about.
My early experiences of yoga, as well as my work as a Nutritionist, has heavily influenced, inspired and motivated my teaching. I teach to culture a feeling of inclusion and accessibility, hold space and develop understanding to support all students. My classes are person-centred, beginner friendly, rooted in mindfulness and breath work. Encouraging a curiosity about our bodies and movement without judgement.
