I started practising yoga after the birth of my third child, and since that time my love of yoga, and strong conviction of the benefits yoga offers, has grown exponentially. I enjoy practising a dynamic flowing form of yoga, heavily influenced by vinyasa flow yoga. My emphasis is on moving with the breath, encouraging body and mind to work together to create balance and ease, both physically and mentally.
I qualified to teach yoga with the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY), through their 500-hour Diploma Teacher course, taught by Tarik Dervish. I have also trained and qualified as a TeenYoga teacher. I continue my learning by regularly attending workshops run by well known international teachers such as Gary Carter, Simon Low and Liz Lark.
I run mixed-ability classes for adults and teenagers in and around Amersham, the latest details of which can be found on my website. I am fully insured with the BWY to teach yoga: I hold a BWY level 4 diploma in teaching yoga and am a Register of Exercise Professionals (REPS) member.
