I qualified as a Yoga teacher in 2002 and have been teaching as my main employment ever since. I have completed 4 Yoga teacher trainings including a 4 year Dru Yoga training, then a 500 hour training with the Anahata School of Yoga and have co-tutored on their training course. In 2009 I began exploring Scaraveilli-inspired Yoga with Marc Acquaviva and have completed his in depth 2 year training.
Over the years I have taught pretty much all ages though I have specialised with working with people with challenges who can't access mainstream classes and have been teaching Chair Yoga since 2004. Having completed 4 years of training with the Mindfulness Association I have been teaching Mindfulness and Compassion since 2013. I have trained in Trauma Sensitive Yoga with David Emerson and the Trauma Institute as well as other experts in the field and the Chair Yoga: Mindful Movement I now offer is ideal for those with chronic pain and fatigue and chronic illness. I offer safe spaces for people to find ease within their experience and self management tools for well being.
My partner and I run regular workshops and retreats weaving combinations of yoga and live-music, mindfulness, ritual, ceremony, mandala making with a focus on connecting with the natural world.
