Yoga Nidra is a powerful technique in which you learn to relax consciously. It is a systematic method of inducing complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation, allowing you to drop down into a deep, restful state where transformational healing can occur. During the practice of yoga nidra, you appear to be asleep, but the consciousness is functioning at a deeper level of awareness. For this reason, yoga nidra is often referred to as psychic sleep or deep relaxation with inner awareness. In this threshold state between sleep and wakefulness, contact with the subconscious and unconscious dimensions occurs spontaneously and this where authentic healing can take place. Sessions are also accompanied by the beautiful and healing sounds of Himalayan Singing Bowls and Koshi Chimes, which further enhance your relaxation and healing experience.

My journey in Yoga began in 2003 under the tuition of Bryn Raven. Since 2010 I have been practising under the guidance of the very well respected Swami Atma Gyanam Saraswati of The Yoga Tree in Norwich. In October 2015, I embarked on a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course with Atma, which is accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals and qualified in September 2016.
All my Yoga classes are Hatha Yoga Style, with classes focusing on building strength and flexibility as well as breathing and relaxation. The classes are suitable for beginners and those with experience of practising Yoga, a basic level of fitness would be an advantage. Options are given so you have the choice as to where you would like to practice at on any one given day.
