Beginner yoga classes for the Older and Wiser people of our community, where STRENGTH, BALANCE and AGILITY can be a challenge but is so important as we age. Classes are held on the first floor of Ashford Place. We use chairs to aid balance and for safety.

The over 50s and beginners community yoga class for men and women; have you ever wondered: What is this yoga thing all about? I can't bear to go to the gym with all the muscle bound gym bunnies! There is no way I can do yoga because I'm not flexible. There is nowhere nearby for me to go. I used to do yoga years ago when I was younger.
START A YOGA PRACTICE on Tuesdays at 10am and Thursdays at 10am with Susie to begin to stretch your body, build your strength, breathe, relax.........and maybe meditate a little. Please come!

The benefits of a yoga practice are numerous and too many to mention them all here, however yoga can regulate blood pressure, delay ageing, improve posture, reduce stress, calm and control the mind and increase breath control.
Susie also teaches one-to-ones and groups of up to three in her own spacious home or alternatively, in the homes/offices of students. She also teaches yoga to students and teachers in schools and colleges as well as private clubs. Please email or phone.
