HATHA YOGA
The Sanskrit word "Hatha" means sun and moon. Unity in the diversity: heat and cold, men and women. In a session of Hatha yoga practice the main points are the breathing exercises, the static asanas and the relaxation.
The breathing exercises raise the vital energy through the central channel or chakras and help us to control the mind.
Holding the asanas or physical postures we develop the concentration and patience at the same time that we improve the strength and flexibility.
Between asana and asana, it's included short periods of relaxation to calm down our breath and relax our body helping us to keep focus inwards.
By controlling the breath and the body, we can learn how to control the mind. This kind of yoga is good to prepare our body and mind for the meditation practice.

I studied Psychology , a science that as Yoga does, it studies the mind to understand our thoughts and emotions, with the goal to find wellbeing and happiness.
I travel to India and study yoga. I became Hatha Yoga instructor at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Ashram in Madurai. Then I travelled again to India, this time to Mysore, where I studied an Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training course. Now a days, I am a Saraswati's student at the K.Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute, (KPJAYI), in Mysore, India.
