My name is Kelly, I'm mum to an energetic 5 year old, a lively 2 year old and I am Maternal Sunshine Yoga. I'm also a midwife, a registered antenatal educator & pregnancy yoga teacher. I was always interested in yoga but it was during my first pregnancy that my love for yoga really began. It helped me with my endless complaints of pregnancy (nausea, vomiting, PGP, headaches, oedema to name a few!) but the bonding that took place between us is hard to describe. When he finally arrived in my arms, I felt as if I knew him already. As he grew, we enjoyed mum & baby yoga together which was a very positive experience during a time of infant reflux (but that's another story!). I continued to practice yoga during my second pregnancy and now both my little ones love to copy me whenever I get a spare 5 minutes for my own practice! I'm very passionate about women's health and maternal mental health so the combination of being a midwife and pregnancy yoga teacher is perfect for me.
