This is a gentle yoga class for well-being, exclusively designed for women during pregnancy. The 1-2-1 session begin with breathing techniques, followed by a series of postures or asanas tailored each week to the stages of pregnancy, and a final relaxation. A smooth flow to allow your body to rest during your pregnancy whilst also bringing energy and harmony into your mind, body and spirit.
ABOUT THE CLASS
* In the yoga classes I incorporate breathing techniques and yoga postures exclusively designed with a week-per-week approach in relation to the pregnancy.
* The 1-2-1 yoga sessions are tailored to suit each individual's needs according to their stage of pregnancy.
NOTE: If you already had a regular yoga practice prior to becoming pregnant and would like to continue with your practice during your pregnancy, you are very welcome to start the classes anytime. If you are new to yoga and would like to start a 1-2-1 pregnancy yoga class, it is advisable to start the classes after the week 13 of pregnancy, once the most exhausting stage has passed.
PLACE, TIMES AND PRICE
* I currently teach 1-2-1 pregnancy yoga classes in the Fishponds area.
* If you'd like to book a session, please get in touch. I have slots available in the morning, afternoon and early evenings, Monday to Friday.
* The yoga classes I offer are affordable because I like to help women experience by themselves the physical, emotional and spiritual benefits that come from a regular yoga practice. Yoga can be very beneficial during a normal pregnancy, not only at a physical but also at an emotional level, hence my wish to make the classes accessible for other mums-to-be.
* The classes are charged per hour session, and the prices range between £20 and £40, depending on the location. For the classes held at my place the cost per yoga session is £20 (this is usually people's favourite as they can take it once a week at a time that best suits them). In all the classes, all the yoga equipment is provided, including yoga mats, bolsters, etc.
Yoga as a life style, a path for self-development, well-being and peace. In my personal experience I have not found a more tangible reminder about the changing nature of things than pregnancy. Learning to adapt, to be flexible and accept things as they are has been hugely beneficial for me during this stage of life. Pregnancy in itself is an everyday yoga practice. If you are interested in booking a 1-2-1 pregnancy yoga session, please get in touch.

My yoga practice began in 2001 when I was living in Mexico. In 2013 I had the opportunity to train with Yogachariya Jnandev and in 2014 I became a qualified Yoga teacher by Yoga Alliance UK. In 2015 I started teaching regular Hatha and Ashtanga yoga classes in Bristol, both in English and Spanish. In 2016 I started teaching two yoga classes a week, one with a focus on fertility, and the other on pregnancy. The benefits I could see from working 1-2-1 with people were evident and this motivated me to also train as a Pregnancy Yoga teacher, a process which I'm currently enjoying along with my first pregnancy.
