Pregnancy Yoga, Saturday mornings

The primary focus of Pregnancy Yoga is to support and enhance your pre-natal experience. The aim is to encourage a sense of relaxation and confidence all the way through your pregnancy up to, and including, labour. As your familiarity and confidence with the practice grows, you’ll find yourself more relaxed and at ease with the daily changes occurring as your baby develops. You will also find that as you progress you will feel more prepared for labour and will have learnt useful practices you can take with you. Students are encouraged to work at their own level and with awareness of their body and baby.

Pregnancy Yoga classes are also a great place to meet other mums-to-be and many lasting friendships can be formed at this time.

The benefits of Pregnancy Yoga include:

- strengthening and toning the muscles of the pelvic floor
- preparing the body for labour
- learning deep relaxation techniques
- helping with effective breathing techniques for labour
- deepening the bond between mother and baby
- helping to alleviate ailments commonly experienced during pregnancy

Pregnancy Yoga classes are suitable for anyone over 14 weeks pregnant up until birth. No previous experience of yoga is necessary.

I am a dedicated yoga practitioner and a passionate, very experienced and fully qualified Senior Yoga Teacher based in East London, with over 14 years teaching experience and 800+ hours of teaching certifications.

I teach regular weekly classes in London , as well as monthly workshops and beginners courses. I also offers personalised private yoga, both for individuals and in the workplace. I teach mostly in East London (E14, E2, E8, E9), as well as in The City and Central London.

I am proud to be recognised as a Senior Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals and have also been honoured to be featured as Teacher of the Month in Yoga Magazine.

I truly believe that everyone can benefit from yoga, whatever their background, age, size or current physical condition, and my approach to teaching is one of warmth, encouragement and care and is always tailored to an individual’s needs. My main aim is to make yoga accessible and enjoyable for everyone and to help people find more ease and freedom in both their body and mind.

Having lived in London and worked in a busy office job in the publishing industry for many years before teaching, I am very aware of the stresses and challenges of big city living, and know how a regular yoga practice can be enormously helpful in dealing with these and can enable people to find more balance, space and calm in their bodies, minds and lives.
