Pregnancy yoga classes combine gentle stretches with breathing/ relaxation techniques to help prepare you for birth and beyond. Classes are taught on a birthing ball as I believe it provides the best preparation for birth. As a BWY certified pregnancy yoga teacher, I adapt and modify for all common pregnancy ailments.

As an ex-gymnast and health PR with 15 years' yoga experience, I was inspired to teach classes to share my knowledge for what I have learnt both physically and through the written word. I now love teaching hatha flow, pregnancy, postnatal and mother and baby classes in and around Southampton. My classes are vinyasa (sequence) based, starting with centering and warm up, moving through sequential poses toward a peak pose, and then counter poses to breathing and relaxation. My mantra is 'practise makes perfect' and I believe that it is only through dedicated practise that you can truly reap the rewards.
