Hi I'm Stacie, a yoga & Hypnobirth teacher based in Ashford, Kent.
I specialise in prenatal and postnatal yoga and also offer mother and baby classes.
I am passionate about all things pregnancy and birth! My number one goal is for you to look back on this experience as a positive one.
My yoga classes are created to support you through your second, third and forth trimester. I strongly believe in the benefits of practising yoga at this time of transformation and my goal is to help you safely build strength and endurance, both mentally and physically, to prepare for birth.
My hypnobirthing courses are science and evidence based, not an incense stick in sight! You will learn all about the process of birth, what is happening to your body at each stage, how hormones control the whole process and what you can do to ensure those hormones are in the right balance to aid a quicker labour. The self-hypnosis techniques will help you remain calm and positive which ever twist or turn your labour takes. You will learn all about your birthing options so that you can make an informed decisions which are right for you and your baby.
For me yoga and hypnobirthing go hand in hand. Both complimenting each other wonderfully. The physiological process of giving birth relies heavily on keeping active, listening to your body, tuning in to your intuition and moving in to different positions to birth your baby. The techniques of hypnobirthing are ramped up even more when you add the hypnotic movement and breath of yoga. With this in mind I have also created and teach My Yoga Birth workshops which combine the essentials from my full antenatal hypnobirthing course and my yoga classes.
