Our western life style can negatively affect the energy of our internal organs, creating imbalances. Energetically, Yin Yoga is a Qi (chi) enhancement practice that will maintain the quality of Qi flow as one goes through life. Practiced to increase vitality, harmonise the inner activities of the body and to release and move stagnated blockages of Qi. Yin Yoga aims to bring harmony in the energy body allowing for better absorption of Qi that then feed areas that are deficient.
Cultivating stillness and insight from our busy lives create a bridge to get to know our minds, encouraging an open state of mind and allowing us to be just where we are and to be settle within that; giving our body the ability to deal with day to day stresses.

Yoga came to me twenty years ago. I was drawn to it as a way to understand spirituality and I was fascinated by the relationship between mind-body. All through motherhood I had to draw on my yoga practice to find this balance. It has been a journey of great transformation on how I view Yoga and the connection between the body, self and the divine.
My interest is in practising and teaching any aspect of Yoga that works, rather than adhering to one single viewpoint. I use the opportunity to teach Yoga as a gift to learn about myself. There is always constant work to do with ourselves and while being allowed to be a Yoga teacher, I try to share my understanding of Yoga wholeheartedly to my students.
What I teach comes from my heart and mind, it flows through me as the vehicle, colouring my teachings appropriately.
