Generally these sessions will start with seated pranayama (manipulation of the breath). You will then practice meditation, taking your attention inward with focus, to bring about a sense of peace and self-acceptance. Together, we will explore a variety of traditions and influences.
This will be followed by Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra is a powerful floor-based practice where you will be guided into a "conscious sleep", and may lead to a feeling of absolute relaxation and calm. Please bring blankets and any props you may wish to make yourself feel comfortable.
This session is open to all levels, from complete beginners to more experienced students. This session can be taken seated on a chair if you are not able, or would prefer not to, rest on the floor.
