Restorative Yoga is a completely passive form of yoga offering you the opportunity to give yourself permission to rest in deep relaxation for the whole class. There are only a handful of poses which are held for a length of time to allow your body to open up and release tension. A calm and restful environment, with no distractions, is provided to allow you to feel safe and ready to unwind. Props such as bolsters, blankets and eye pillows are used to make you as comfortable as possible. It is beneficial for the mind as well as the body and is an antidote to a busy and active lifestyle. It is also the perfect compliment to Vinyasa Yoga. Suitable for all, including beginners. Ideal if recovering from injury.
