The Saturday Morning Gentle Yoga is a great way to to start the weekend with gentle stretching and twisting to ease those tight shoulders and lower backs, feeling that mind, body breath connection, which bring you back evenness. The class is of mixed ability and beginners are welcome to join. We start the Saturday yoga with opening stretches then move to a gentle standing sequence and on to seated forwards bends, gentle back bending postures and inversions, closing with a relaxation. This is a great class for people who work all week and have time on the week do practice some yoga.

I am a yoga teacher based in Anglesey, North Wales, and currently teach a number of Iyengar and Vinyasa based Hatha yoga classes. I have been practicing yoga for many years. My journey started with a trip to India to study yoga at the age of 18. I then became interested in Martial arts and Tai Chi, which I studied for many years in California. I moved to North Wales in 1988 and began to practice yoga once again. My teaching style is as varied as my interests and classes offer a good balance of postures and breath work, using a variety of yoga styles, including Iyengar, Vinyasa flow, Gitananda and Hatha yoga. I have a hands on teaching style and make posture adjustments, when necessary. The yoga classes offer a well-rounded workout, developing core strength and flexibility through the exploration and sequencing of different yoga postures and most classes are mixed ability, open to beginners. Come join one of the classes and have a stretch!
*A regular yoga practice is a total mind-body workout that combines strengthening and stretching poses with deep breathing and relaxation. Yoga classes can help you build strength and flexibility, reduce stress and anxiety, improve posture, balance and sleep and supports joint health.
