Using a chair, my classes are designed to increase energy, strength, and flexibility, as well as lung capacity. Chair Yoga also improves balance, concentration, and body awareness.
You start where you are and you are encouraged to do what you can. Tea/coffee is provided after the class.
The time is 10.15 - 11.15 am every Wednesday.

I believe everyone can do yoga, it's just a matter of accepting our uniqueness and listening to what our body is telling us, and respecting that. We practice with kindness, compassion, and honesty (ahimsa and Satya). We focus on maintaining flexibility and strengthening the body, as well as relaxation. We use the breath to help us in our journey of mindfulness. I have been teaching for over 17 years and I believe yoga is not just for the physical benefits but for mental and emotional well-being too.
I have done postgraduate courses in Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs, Somatics, and Yin Yoga, as well as Functional Yoga. I am also a meditator.
My classes are half termly and I expect you to attend on a regular basis to appreciate the full benefits. The current cost is £51 for 6 weeks.
Please note: I do not operate pay-as-you-go or drop-in sessions.
