CLASS TYPE: Yoga for all stages of Menopause/Golden Girls Yoga
TARGET AGE: 30-60This class is MAT-based and suitable for anyone with good lower body mobility.
DESCRIPTION: It is a yoga to help manage the symptoms of all stages of menopause (PRE-menopause, PERI menopause, menopause, POST menopause). We also welcome anyone who wants a relief from the effects of their MONTHLY HORMONAL CYCLE like mood swings, depression, anxiety, muscle aches, fatigue caused by sleeplessness etc.

Elaine is a certified yoga instructor who completed a multi-form aligned vinyasa-focused training in Koh Pangan, Thailand. Nurse by profession, she spent several years working as a registered Manager for Domiciliary care agencies and a Nursing Home in Rochdale. Elaine has been practicing yoga for over 5 years and finally decided to get certification to teach this year. After her training, she thought of combining the 2 things she that she is passionate about which is serving/helping the community and Yoga. She is determined to break the stereotype and stigma around middle age individual experiencing the effect of hormonal change in their body either during monthly hormonal cycle(for the young generation) and effects of menopause(for the middle aged individuals) and andropause(for men). She aims to build and grow a community that is safe, accepting, and empowering through Yoga, leaving a positive impact wherever and whenever she can.
