My classes are always warm and welcoming and typically include a short meditative breath work sequence to ground us, active poses which stretch and strengthen the body in optimal alignment, and a final relaxation enabling us to absorb the benefits of the practice.

South Norwood - Yoga with Juliet at the boutique Garden Studio

Juliet is the owner of The Garden Studio in South London where she teaches strong alignment based Hatha Yoga, Hatha Flow and Restorative Yoga Nidra as well as working with other venues, companies and celebrity clients across London. Trained under the highly acclaimed Triyoga teacher training programme with leading teachers Anna Ashby and Joey Miles, she has been practicing and teaching for over a decade. She came to yoga amidst a challenging time in her life when she was suffering from work place burnout and bullying which resulted in a complete loss of connection with herself. Then she began yoga and soon found herself experiencing its many therapeutic benefits, she slept better, could breathe better, moved better, and it created the space needed to understand herself better so that she could navigate her way through life differently. Yoga continues to be her anchor, especially since becoming a mother, and these feelings of space, freedom and clarity gained from her practice are qualities which she endeavour to facilitate for her students. Simply put, Yoga is empowering, and it is as a great privilege for her to hold the space for so many people to find this in themselves. She has contributed to some of the top UK health magazines and continues to adore her job every single day.

In addition to yoga Juliet also runs a bespoke personal training service from her studio. She has created a system called The Mind Body Sculpt Method, which encompasses a dynamic blend of Pilates (reformer and mat), High Intensity Interval Training and Yoga utilising both bodyweight and resistance equipment to raise fitness levels, build stronger core control and tone muscles whilst also increasing flexibility, balance, coordination and better postural awareness. This unique blend was created for those looking for an alternative training system that moves away from heavy weightlifting and traditional gym-based workouts to offer a more holistic approach to fitness that still achieves results.
