Yoga Classes, Workshop Experiences, Courses and Retreats

There are many reasons to practice Yoga, for me it’s to keep my body flexible and improve my health; to help still my mind and to find focus and clarity, to help me overcome anxiety and find peace; to be calm and to better understand myself; to push myself – and overcome nagging doubts and other negative stuff that gets in the way of living a full and happy life. To have fun and laugh and to help me love and accept myself and improve my relationships with others; to connect me to the Earth and experience the wonderful flow of life through all things.

It seems like a lot to ask from a simple Yoga practice, but all these things, and more, come from simple practices that connect you with your body, with your breath and with your own inner stillness and these practices can be done by anyone.

I qualified with the British School of Yoga and was awarded The Professional BSY Yoga Teacher (Hatha) Diploma in February 2014 and have been teaching ever since. I have been practicing Yoga for myself for over 20 years now, but Yoga isn’t my only love. I have been an holistic therapist since 1998 and have trained in Reiki, acupressure, anatomy, therapeutic massage, aromatherapy, psychology and more ………………… and I’m still learning. I believe that these different aspects bring a fuller experience when I’m teaching.

The people who come to my classes like my calm, relaxed approach, my caring attitude and that the delivery of the sessions are not rushed or ‘must do’ and my ‘chilled-out’ attitude towards teaching.

In their own words, they feel ‘calm and relaxed’, ‘less tense and looser’ and come to classes to ‘slow down and breathe, to think about things rather than just doing them’
