Book Here: https://celebrateyoga2018-yogadude.eventbrite.co.uk

Become part of the global celebration of yoga! To celebrate the United Nations International Day of Yoga, join Chandni Yoga for charity yoga events. This year we are bringing a variety of yoga styles to the East Hampshire community – a class and style of yoga for everyone.

If you have been practicing yoga or are thinking of starting yoga....this is your chance to do it with and for your community! No prior experience of yoga required.

A yoga class specifically designed to suit men. Yoga postures to help areas that men generally find challenging. Class will focus on mobility, flexibility and of course breath.

“Men and women don’t need to practice yoga separately. But when a yoga class is specifically geared to men, I design the class based on men’s anatomy, life styles and pressures….the experience is certainly different. I know a lot of men, including my close family and friends who would much rather practice in a class for men…so here it is! Come along and bring your friends too! We will have a couple of our yoga students (men) upfront practicing with us, demonstrating the postures” - Chandni

Fun Fact: Did you know, many traditional yoga teachers (Gurus) – the ones who gave us the gift of modern yoga, were primarily men!

The event is FREE. We would appreciate your help to raise funds for FitzRoy by giving a small donation at the event. ALL proceeds from the event will go to FitzRoy.

Space is limited. Please ensure to pre-register for the event.

Chandni Yoga

Chandni Narvekar is a Yoga Alliance certified teacher (ERYT 200, RYT 500) with 600 hours of yoga teacher training and over 1,100 hours of teaching experience. She currently teaches group classes and private lessons in Hampshire, West Sussex and London.

Chandni’s style of teaching focuses on breath, body awareness and being present. Each person’s yoga practise and experience may be different from their neighbour’s in class. Keeping that in mind, Chandni offers modifications for postures and tailors the classes depending on the group. Chandni’s responsive way of teaching balances the importance of good technique with individual proficiency. Her hope is to help students practise yoga on and off the mat.

Yoga has been an integral part of Chandni’s life. Growing up in India, the principles and practise of yoga were present all around her, whether it was doing asanas (postures) or learning to chant in Sanskrit and Hindi. After moving to America, Chandni started practising Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow yoga. Over the years Chandni has continued her learning and brings her diverse experience of practising yoga in India, the US and the UK to her classes.

Before becoming a full-time yoga teacher Chandni was a change management consultant, working in New York City. She also studied and taught psychology. Chandni has Master of Arts degree in clinical psychology from India and a Master of Arts in industrial psychology from the US.

You can reach Chandni by phone (07459 671543).

“I have had the luck of working and practising yoga in many countries. Over the years, I’ve learnt from the best yoga teachers and met yogis from all over the world. I knew my journey will bring me to teach yoga...the experiences I’ve gathered along the way have been invaluable and influence my teaching every day. I am glad to share my love of yoga with you and hope to bring it to your life, even if in a small way!”
