Whether its surfers, rugby players, tri-athletes or runners, more and more athletes are turning to yoga as a way to help improve their performance. Yoga is a great way to cross train, creating balance with in the body, working through all the joints and muscle systems, improving circulation and blood flow. Doing yoga develops balance, strength, flexibility, endurance and concentration. Increasing flexibility and strength helps to prevent injuries. Yoga also enhances awareness and communication with the body contributing to overall performance.

Anne-Marie OHalloran has been teaching yoga classes in Sligo for the last few years. Classes range from pregnancy, beginners hatha classes to the more challenging hatha flow class.
