This is a gentle yoga class for anyone who has MS. This class is by referral only either from contacting me or the MS nurse.. We start at 1145 to 1300. The Hastings centre has a car park which is free to blue badge holders. Access is good and we have our class on the ground floor. The class consists of gentle stretches and movements. The class can be chair based if needed. Gentle stretches help to keep muscles and joints flexible and as strong as possible, helping balance and mobility. The breathing exercises can really help with fatigue and stress management, as can visualisation and meditation. yoga is non competitive, everyone works at their own ability. The session ends with a deep relaxation. Afterwards many stay for a coffee and a chat in the cafe, and many find this is a really nice end to the morning.

I am a BWY diploma Teacher with over twenty years of consistent teaching experience. I teach slow mindful yoga and work with a breath centric practice, in the style of Vini yoga. I am also a Birthlight baby yoga teacher and a Healthy Lower back teacher.
I teach general classes face to face to face and zoom. I teach one to ones face to face and zoom. I teach for our local MS group for the MS Society and I also work for Sara Lee trust as a yoga teacher for people with cancer.
