Class organised by Edenara, an association for retired men and ladies, and taught by Mrs. Vibeke Gibson. Consession for members of Edenara. The class is suitable for yoga students of all levels, including those with physical conditions such as arthritis, high blood pressure and balance issues. I am a mother of four, originally from Denmark, living in Chaldon, Surrey. I am qualified from the British Wheel of Yoga under the inspirational Cathy-Mae Karelse and have a real passion for yoga as a way of life. I aim to teach with compassion whilst drawing on knowledge from many years of training.
My classes typically incorporate pranayama (breath awareness), mindfulness, yoga philosophy, deep relaxation as well as a great variety of asana (postures). I teach different level group classes as well as one-to-one sessions and each class is tailored to the the specific level and needs of the student(s). HavIng recently finished 18 months' training with Integrated Yoga Therapy I now also work as a yoga therapist, specialising in helping people living with dementia and their carers.
