Classes aim to deepen your knowledge of the fundamentals of Yoga and to develop your practice in a calm, friendly group class. Lessons include intelligent and creative sequences of postures, as well as breath, sound and meditation techniques. Yoga wisdom is also explored and inspires our approach to practice.
From the course you will build a strong foundation and deepen your practice, from which there are many benefits such as improved posture, strength and flexibility; increased energy levels and vitality; and greater stillness and clarity in the mind.
The small group size ensures all students get personal attention and a clear focus on their individual needs.

Rebecca Shah has been practising and studying yoga for over 12 years in the Viniyoga tradition. She is a calm and experienced teacher and works with both adults and children at Clarity Yoga. She is fully insured with the Yoga Alliance.
Rebecca began her in-depth Viniyoga yoga training at the Centre for Yoga Studies, Bristol in 2005. She also then started a daily home practice with her wonderfully inspiring one to one teachers, Sylviane Gianini in France and Janet Evans in London. Rebecca has also trained to teach yoga and mindfulness to children at the Special Yoga Centre with Jo Manuel. Influenced by her experience of yoga practice through pregnancy one of her interests is yoga for women's health.
Before setting up Clarity Yoga, Rebecca worked as a teacher and teacher trainer at University College, London. She therefore is aware of the stresses of a demanding job, and found yoga can make an enormous difference to increasing calm, energy levels and concentration.
Rebecca's yoga lessons focus on using the tools of yoga to support optimal health and wellbeing in every individual, whatever place they find themselves at right now. The classes include the careful and creative sequencing of postures, a focus on appropriate breathing patterns, and meditation and relaxation techniques. Rebecca also has a strong interest in yoga philosophy and how this ancient wisdom can help us develop a greater clarity and understanding, which can assist us in the way we direct and live our lives in the modern world.
