We run daytime and evening classes (including specialist Somatic Yoga classes) in Bingham, Gunthorpe, Lady Bay/West Bridgford and Radcliffe-on-Trent. Our classes are suitable for all levels and we can adapt the postures to suit you, so don’t worry if you’ve never done yoga before! Find the class that suits you, then contact us to check we have space (and let us know if you initially need to borrow a mat).
We both came to yoga to treat health problems: the aftermath of a car accident for Karen, and a back condition for Kev. We loved it so much, and found it helped us so much, that we decided to retrain as Yoga teachers, and this led on to us training as Full Movement Method (FMM) Practitioners. FMM is a unique approach to resolving many muscle and joint malfunctions and aches and pains within the body by aiming to restore movement that has been lost from childhood. It uses a combination of deep tissue remedial massage, joint mobilisations and applied Yoga to release tight/stiff joints and restore full movement and relieve pain.
Karen now specialises in Somatic Movement - this has its roots in Feldenkrais & The Alexander Technique, and is a common-sense safe and easy way to reverse chronic tightness and pain.
