Plenty of mindful movement, a bit of meditation and a lovely savasana (final relaxation), of course!

I started practising yoga to ease the aches and pains of running. But I quickly realised that the benefits of yoga extend beyond the physical. That was around 10 years ago and these days I do less running and more yoga. My personal time on the mat, though it includes physical postures (asanas), is largely for the mind, keeping its business or chatter - the 'chitta vritti' in yoga talk - at bay. I have been teaching yoga for several years now, having graduated from YogaCampus, which is one of London's top yoga schools.
Less about me :) what about the classes I teach? The style is dynamic hatha yoga which is basically shorthand for lots of movement wth space/time for inner stillness. All the classes I teach are suitable for all-levels of experience including beginners. Everyone receives a friendly welcome! I'm always happy to discuss individual needs such as working safely with conditions/injuries and have trained with internationally-renowned yoga as therapy teacher Doug Keller. I teach in workplaces in central London and community-based classes in the north-east of the capital, and do some one-to-one sessions. I also recently ran a stress-relief class for wellness at work week. Pop along to a class and see what you think!
