Hi, my name is Kay Birkett and I am the owner of Breathing Buddhies. I am an independent yoga teacher in Atherton.
I've had a long interest in yoga & meditation, practicing for over 30 years after being introduced to it as a child. Using the tools of yoga has helped me navigate my way through life. My yoga classes involve somatic movement, breathing exercises & meditation to help reduce stress and bring peace to the mind & body. Yoga is for EVERY body regardless of size, shape and flexibility.
Classes are based around functional movement to re-introduce the body to everyday movements that help with tasks such as bending, kneeling, reaching etc. We incorporate meditation and relaxation to help reset the mind and body to allow space in the body to rest & digest.
