This class is a drop in class, all are very welcome. The style will either be one of two styles: A slow steady pace with only a handful of asanas (postures) that we are going to focus on that day or it could be a slightly faster pace.
The level of the class is beginners to intermediate.
Mats, blocks etc are provided. In cooler months I do have some blankets available for meditation at the end of the class, but due to limited number it could be wise to bring one just in case.

I love teaching yoga; the best thing about teaching yoga is the people that I get to meet and watch develop beyond their perceived limitations. My belief is that a great yoga class is made up of two important elements; 1. the teacher has to be someone you can warm to and 2. the other participants. My students are warm, friendly, approachable and genuine - they range from novice to intermediate and everyone is welcomed. I can say that you will not be walking into a clique, no-one has a set space and there is always room to hide at the back of the room!
My teaching is strongly influenced by the Eastern philosophy about a living being is made up of 3 elements that exist in harmony; the body, mind and soul. Every class has a unique theme and lesson structure, with the postures as a whole and individually having a physical, cognitive and spiritual element for you to absorb. Every class ends with a meditation that I have written, personally, to fit into the theme of that particular class.
So if you would like to join us, you would be very welcome.
