Classes involve yoga for mum, yoga for baby and relaxation together. A typical session involve stretches for baby incorporating baby massage, breathing and focused yoga postures for mum and postures for two to give mum and baby new ways to relate to each other. For mummies we focus on gently rebuilding the abdominal muscles, slowly get back to pre baby shape while gaining strength, stamina and fitness.
Classes are suitable from 6 weeks following birth but would recommend 8-10 weeks following caesarean section.

Ostara yoga was founded by Friends Heather Dickson and Ashley Aitken. Heather is a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Trauma resolution specialist, a two times award winning Hypnobirthing teacher and Yoga teacher with a passion for overcoming overwhelm, stress and anxiety. Ashley is a qualified midwife, doula, certified yoga teacher with a passion for empowering people through yoga.
