DURING THE RETREAT
Morning / Guided Meditation walk amongst nature
2 Daily Yoga sessions suitable for beginners and intermediate levels.
Enjoy my daily morning Hatha session, a balanced & holistic flow sequence will be introduced each morning to energize you for the day.
Evening zen sessions shall unwind with more restorative & relaxing Hatha Flow that focus on healing and letting go. Both classes are designed to help you develop your own personal practice once you leave the retreat.
Daily Mediation and Pranayama sessions, you will learn and practice pranayama and simple
meditation technique that will help to create a calm, creative and peaceful state of mind.
Evening Yoga Nidra and sleep preparation sessions.
There is a purpose built yoga circle in the shade of the trees on the mountainside plus a yoga yurt for indoor practice.
A second space between the buildings is used for meditation .
It is also possible to do yoga indoors in the dining room, with its full length panoramic windows and fantastic views, or on the deck beside the swimming pool.
The relaxation area surrounding it is a natural sun trap. Lay on the sun-beds with a book and look down through the olive groves to the lake below you and far in the distance glimpse the glittering sea and occasionally Africa
As keen nutritionists the owners offer raw food options at some meals. The food is delicious.
Richard and Betty also offer on-site Massages, Holistic Therapies, Reiki and Healing that complement the retreat activities perfectly. Personalised consultations with a nutritional therapist are also available. Cost is 45 euros per hour
The retreat is relatively isolated and car hire is recommended if you wish to explore the region. The nearest village is Periana, 4 kms away down the mountain – here you will find a variety of shops, cafés and a restaurant.
Horse riding (one hour away), visits to the hot springs and other excursions can all be arranged by your hosts.
A short walk away, within the hamlet, is a local bar (picture below) with coffee, drinks and snacks, these are also available on site from the in-house bar.
Your basic holiday includes vegetarian, vegan or raw food diet options, with one night dedicated to a trip to a local restaurant where you can buy a Spanish meal for a modest price.
A large breakfast/brunch will be served after the morning yoga class and dinner after the evening yoga class. A snack is provided at lunch time.
All the facilities here are of a very high standard although we feel we should point out that the rooms are small – but perfect for your needs.
There are 8 single rooms and 1 room with a double bed which serves as a double or single.
All rooms have en-suite facilities with a terr- ace; look down the mountains over the lake (on a clear day you can see Africa) .

You will need a flight to Malaga, you might like to search the internet for prices, I have just checked and there is a flight from Leeds / Bradford £34.26 return 🙂
Accommodation, yoga, daily breakfast, a light lunch and dinner on 6 nights .
Not Included: Flight to Malaga, transfers, travel insurance. There will be one day without yoga and dinner. Instead you will be taken to a typical Spanish restaurant where you may purchase your own meal.

My mission is to offer clear, inspiring, personalised instruction in a serene, safe, friendly and welcoming space, where students can explore and develop their own yoga practice and self-transformation.
A-YOGA practice will leave students feeling rejuvenated and inspired, open the doors to positive transformation, and ultimately bring about a calm and peaceful mind, an open and compassionate heart, and a strong feeling of self-acceptance. My teaching style, approach and voice deliver a unique individualised yoga experience.
YOGA IS A PERSONAL JOURNEY TOWARDS REALISING YOUR INNER SELF
Happiness, peace, love and calm already exist within you. Yoga is a personal journey towards finding the right balance that allows you to shine through, both on and off the mat. A-YOGA practice stretches and strengthens our bodies. It teaches us to move mindfully and connect with our breath, which leads us to be mindful and present in our daily tasks. It nourishes our souls, and it teaches us the freedom to be still.
After practicing yoga for several years, I was amazed at how transformative the practice was, and how it also alleviated the stresses of my busy working lifestyle as a wedding planner. It also helped me to achieve a much-needed personal balance. Soon, I began to explore the subject in ever more depth and practice the techniques more systematically, and it wasn’t long before I realised that I had been well and truly bitten by the yoga bug.
For me, yoga is about health and happiness, cultivating balance, and living with your heart wide open. I think of my practice as the time to simply set aside for myself.
In my classes I teach Hatha yoga. I love to combine creative sequencing, mindfulness, and relaxation plus a dose of inspiration to help my students deepen their practice.
