I initially discovered yoga during my second pregnancy and found the breathing and relaxation techniques really helpful during labour. I have always been a swimmer, but after a couple of years of trying (and failing) to find another exercise to increase my fitness levels, a friend introduced me to a local Ashtanga class and I just loved it. There has been no turning back for me. Over the past 16 years I have developed a more balanced practice, incorporating Hatha Flow with a Yin and Restorative style, to keep my mind, spirit and body in shape. I qualified as a Hatha (mixed styles) yoga teacher in Spring 2014 and have been teaching adult group and private yoga classes in the Hampton area since. I also qualified with Rainbow Kids Yoga in spring 2013 and regularly teach Family and Kids Yoga classes within the primary and secondary school sectors. I am very excited to be hosting my first yoga retreat this autumn in Devon and aim to complete my Pre-Natal teaching qualification next year.
