A weekend yoga holiday based on the beautiful Yorkshire Coast. Converted barns/stables provide luxury four star ensuite accommodation set in the small rural village of Buckton.
From the accommodation you can explore the scenic coastline, walk along the 6 mile long stunning 100metre high Bempton cliffs (featured in The Daily Mail Newspaper's "The 20 finest views in Britain") and visit the RSPB Nature Reserve, the best place in England to see Puffins and Gannets.
Filey and Flamborough Head can be reached by clifftop and beach walks where you can discover one of "Britain's best beaches" as defined by The Times Newspaper and spend an afternoon rockpooling, exploring the caves or strolling on the beach. A short drive enables visits to the seaside resorts of Scarborough and Bridlington. Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay are one hours drive away.
Enjoy a scenic and relaxed yoga holiday taught by Christine Rumley, a friendly local Iyengar yoga teacher with over ten years experience. Price includes accommodation, daily brunch and delicious vegetarian evening meals prepared by a chef specialising in vegetarian food and using local organic produce, morning & late afternoon yoga classes with yoga equipment provided, guided beach and clifftop walking trips. Reflexology and massage and other treatments available.
Maximum number of guests is 10 to allow for individual attention during classes and to encourage a friendly relaxed atmosphere during the holiday. You are welcome travelling solo, with friends or as a couple and the yoga is optional as there are plenty of walks and sightseeing locally. For keen cyclists the village was included in The Tour de Yorkshire cycle route in 2015. Our holidays are suitable for all ages and experience levels too!
Getting here; Leeds/Bradford is the nearest airport. The local railway station is Bempton, just 20 minutes walk from the accommodation.

Christine has been teaching Iyengar Yoga for more than ten years. She has a relaxed friendly manner and is passionate about the benefits yoga can bring to general health and wellbeing.
Classes are for beginners, more experienced students and yoga teachers. Christine also instructs on a one to one basis and teaches students with special needs and children. She annually teaches yoga holidays in Europe.
Correct alignment of the body in poses ensures you’re working safely, with maximum benefit to your flexibility, strength and wellbeing.
Classes generally start with simple poses and gradually move towards more advanced poses, ending with a period of relaxation.
Props, such as blocks and belts, are provided and sometimes used in class to allow those with less strength or flexibility to work correctly and achieve their full potential.
