Creative Yoga Retreats in Italy

Because I don't live in either my past or my future. I'm
interested only in the present, If you can concentrate
always on the present, you'll be a happy man. .... Life will be
a party for you, a grand festival, because life is the moment
we're living right now.
Paulo Coelho The Alchemist

Creative Yoga Retreat was created by a group of people who believe in magic in life and the power of yoga and meditation. Our goal is to share positivity, energy, life, creativity, love, friendship, respect, admiration for beauty, nature, and our fellow human beings. We would like to offer our contribution to a better and more positive world and human life through yoga, meditation, pranayama, and ancient and new mental, physical, and spiritual practices. We would love to spread our “vision”. For us yoga and meditation are a journey towards self-knowledge, improvement, and universal harmony thanks to observation, study, practice, and discipline. Creativity is also essential for us to live fully and free from constraints, limitations, traumas, and blocks. To look for inspiration, we will wander during our retreats through ancient and historical cities and admire beautiful Italian statues, monuments, paintings, and architecture. We strive to open the gates of mind, body, and spirit thanks to our yoga retreats in natural landscapes, hikes, bike rides, laughter, community, sharing moments, solidarity, openness, creative writing workshops, cooking classes, guided tours of ancient Italian cities, and anything that new beginners and experienced yoga practitioners wish to feel happy and relaxed!

OUR VISION

And in the end, it is not the years in your life that count.
It is the life in your years.
Abraham Lincoln

Our vision of yoga and meditation is perfectly described by Henry David Thoureau in his work Life in the Woods: “I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. I did not wish to live what was not life, living is so dear; nor did I wish to practice resignation, unless it was quite necessary. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life, to live so sturdily and Spartan- like as to put to rout all that was not life.” Yoga and meditation mean to “suck the marrow of life”; to live an essential life close to nature; to discover how nature made us and other human beings; to constantly learn about ourselves, the others, and the world; and to reach a deep awareness of our human dimension and our nature.
