I began practising yoga in 1999, and qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga in 2007, followed by a further month’s study at the Khrisnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in Chennai, India in Feb 2008. As well as with some of the world’s leading teachers: Sarah Powers, Donna Farhi, Paul Grilley and Max Strom.
I have also studied Reflexology, Massage and Dance. My teaching is influenced by different styles of Hatha yoga and my approach I would like to think of as welcoming and creating, delivering a safe and well rounded class which can be enjoyed by all levels and ages. Paying attention to alignment and a focus on breath and movement co-ordination, allowing to build strength and flexibility, promoting a healthy, happy and balanced life!
