Enjoy an enlightening half-day yoga experience as together we work through the classic sun salutation and other kriyas whilst exploring some more advanced yogic techniques. We'll use this practice to learn how the postures (āsana) reveal insights about our inner workings.
As we explore different styles of yogic breathing (prāṇāyāma), we investigate the 'feeling' of energy and how this affects our physical practice.
Finally, having used āsana and prāṇāyāma as preparation, we endeavor to find a new depth of feeling as we delve into a short and simple meditation (dhyāṇa).
This course is entirely suitable for beginners, you don't need to be flexible or physically fit - you just need to bring an open mind, a willingness to engage and a smile 😊.

We would like to extend a warm invitation for you to join us as we undertake a 5,000-year-old journey through postures, yogic breathing, meditation, philosophy, and more.
Let's take a look at where this life-affirming technology came from, how it has adapted over the years and why it is every bit as relevant today as it was 5,000 years ago. As we learn the intricacies of the techniques on the mat, so we endeavour to apply these lessons to our everyday lives. We learn how to reach inside of ourselves and gain a greater understanding of who we are and how we work in order to achieve happiness, security in ourselves and resilience to the junk that life throws at us. You may think that yoga is just a series of postures to make you fit and flexible...you may be very surprised at what you discover.
Age, physical fitness and general flexibility do not matter as we have something for everyone – by far the most important part of your body during these yoga classes and programmes will be your mind
