This 14 day course covers the foundational principles and practices of Ayurveda. One has to complete at least 8 hours a day and 100 hours in two weeks to get the certification for 100 Hours of Ayurveda training. By the end of the course students will be able to analyze a person's dosha constitution, suggest appropriate diet and daily regimen, and be knowledgeable in natural home remedies based on Ayurveda principles. This course includes some cooking lessons on Ayurveda cooking, learning about medicinal properties of plants used in Ayurveda, and how to give basic treatments such as Abhyanga, Nasyam, Shirodhara, etc. This Ayurveda course includes yoga classes and meditation sessions, as they are integral part of Ayurveda. Students who don’t want to be part of Yoga and Meditation sessions will be given a certificate for 50 Hours. Please note this course is not an Ayurveda Massage course, though it does include how to give Ayurveda massages briefly. This certification is not accredited with any government nor any medical bodies around the world.
