Standing strong by the notion that ‘Yoga is for everyone’, I teach yoga to people of all ages, with a good dose of kind-hearted spirit. Incorporating a playful mixture of challenging movements and postures, combined with super-soothing relaxation techniques, make for a truly refreshing class.
Training initially in India in the Sivananda style, I have since completed specialist training in Children’s yoga with Jo Manuel of The Special Yoga Centre and in Pregnancy yoga with Francoise Freedman of Birthlight. My good friend and mentor, Rozy Kalliabetsos has guided me through the Anusara principles of alignment over the last few years, and has ensured that I continue to think, question and learn, on my yoga journey. In 2016 I gained my Anusara Yoga certification, following a 100hr training programme with Bridget Woods-Kramer.
I have a special interest in the anatomy of the body and yoga therapy, exploring movements and ways to release tension to alleviate specific ailments. I often work with adults and children with learning developmental needs and disabilities to bring the benefits of an aligned, safe and fun yoga practice.
Fully CRB checked and trained in first aid.
